Registration and login

 

Why do I need to register?

You need to register to use Audit Viewpoint so that when you log on, we can provide access according to your personal or organisational subscription. Registering also allows you to sign up for the e-alert notifying you of new editions.

 

I have already registered on another CIPFA website. Can I use these login details for Audit Viewpoint?

Yes, if you have registered with one of CIPFA's online services, you can use the same details to log in to any of the other services including Audit Viewpoint. However, you will only gain access to the content if you have an active subscription.

 

Does my organisation have a single login name and password?

No, each staff member at your organisation must register separately and log in using their own email address and password so that they can set their personal online preferences, such as e-alert services.

 

I have forgotten my password

Just click on Login in the top right hand corner of the screen, then click on 'forgotten password?' You will be asked to enter your email address and your password will then be emailed to you. If you have any difficulties in logging on, please email auditviewpoint@cipfa.org.uk.

 

How can I change my password?

Go to My Subscription at the top of the page and click on 'change password'.

 

I have registered but I can't log in.

If you have registered successfully and received your password, but you are unable to log in:

  • check that you are entering the correct email address and password with no mistakes (extra spaces, hyphens, letters etc)
  • do not rely on Windows auto-complete as this may be using the incorrect details
  • make sure that you are logging in with the email address that you registered with, and the password you were sent (or your new password if you have changed it)
  • cut and paste the password from the original email into the login box.

Do I have to log in each time I visit?

If you tick the 'remember me on this computer' option when you log in, you will remain logged in each time you visit the website unless you click on Logout, or do not visit the website for 30 days.

 

Can I log in from any PC or laptop?

Yes, your subscription allows you to log in from any PC, laptop or mobile device with internet access. Just log in as normal.

 

What happens if my details change?

You can change your name, address, email address and password by clicking on My Subscription at the top of the page. Your subscription access may change if you move to another organisation.

 

Subscription queries

 

The website says I don't subscribe to Audit Viewpoint but I know I do - what's happened?

It may be that you have logged on with details which the system does not recognise. Make sure you are logging in using your work email address. Check the name of your organisation as shown on the My Subscription page. Check with your organisation that they have not changed their subscription. If you are unable to resolve the problem through these means, email auditviewpoint@cipfa.org.uk for help.

 

How do I renew my subscription?

For existing subscribers, we will send a renewal invoice to the nominated contact within your organisation at the commencement of a new subscription year. The subscription year runs from 1 January to 31 December.

Where do I sign up for the Audit Viewpoint e-alert notifying me of new editions?

The e-alert sign up check box is located at the bottom right of the Audit Viewpoint homepage at auditviewpoint.cipfa.org.uk. Tick the box and click 'sign me up' to subscribe.

 

Content and editorial
